Ladies and Gentlemen:
I wasn't sure what to write about this week, and then I saw the comment that was left on the previous posting regarding Michigan wanting to kick Penn State out of the Big Ten. Well, I am certainly not one to let this kind of thing slide by. So, here are my thoughts.
First, Ann Arbor is still a whore. (Actually, I just found out in the last 20 minutes that there wasn't a lady named Ann Arbor. Regardless, we've been staying it for the last decade and I see no reason to stop now.)
Next, what a dumb ass poll that was. First of all, Michigan has beaten us the last 7 or 8 times we've played. Why would you want to kick out an opponent that you've had so much success against in the recent past? Exactly. Also, I have to question the validity of any poll where one of the responses isn't even possible. I had no idea that we have been playing Toronto all these years. Michigan public schools....yeah!
I've said this before, but I consider any season where we beat Michigan to be a total success. I don't care if we are 1-10. As long as that one win is versus the 'maize and gold' that's fine by me.
And, I'm still a little pissed off at the fact that Chad Henne picked Michigan over PSU. However, if you think about the reasons why he did it, it has played out exactly how he thought it would. He's been a 4-year started at a Big Ten school. He's now projected to be a high pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Anthony "I'm schmmmart" Morelli has been a disappointment since the day he set foot on campus.
One other note about adding teams to the Big Ten. I think that this is actually going to happen. I have read a couple of good articles about how and why this will play out. And, as always....it boils down to dollars. The Big Ten will be launching its own cable network in the near future. Adding a 12th team will allow the Big Ten to split into two divisions and have a Championship game that would be a ratings bonanza to a fledgling network. Also, by adding another team in a new state, it would make the network more marketable. So, I think that they would love to add a Notre Dame, but they already have a presence in Indiana. Teams that I have seen mentioned include Missouri, Syracuse, Rutgers, and.......Nebraska. As crazy as that sounds, I think Nebraska would be a good fit. They have been struggling as a program lately. So, it wouldn't be like they are adding another powerhouse that would be hard to beat every season. Also, the former Big 12 commissioner, a man named Kevin Weiberg, just left the conference to join the Big Ten Network. Just something to think about. Also, here's a link to the article.
Till next week....

Couple things.
Fuck Michigan.
The Big Ten network is a sham. I can't watch non conference games now because they are on the Big Ten network.
I wouldn't mind kicking Nebraska's ass yearly.
Lloyd Carr is a bitch.
Fuck Michigan.
Big Ten refs need to be investigated.
Fuck Michigan.
One more ting I forgot...Fuck Michigan.
Fuck you Wes, the Big Ten Network is awesome. I can now watch every Penn State game that I don't attend in HD and I don't have to get ESPN GamePlan (RIPOFF) to do so. What sucks is your fucking shitty cable company who has you bent over. DIRECTV gives me the BTN in my base package. The goal of the BTN is to get it included with all base cable packages, but the cable companies want to charge you extra for it and put it in the premier package. Refocus you anger on the true people to blame. Oh one other thing to add, of the 36 games the BTN will air this season, 33 are in HD. That is fucking awesome.
Yes, my cable company sucks. I don't think the offer the Big Ten Network, period.
It pains me to say this, but the Chad is correct. Comcast is trying to up their fees for adding the Big Ten Network. I actually went through gopsusports.com and there is a petition that you can go through and sign to send a letter to Comcast and demand that they add BTN. I didn't know that they were having that many games in HD. Damn, I'm getting screwed. I would even consider upgrading to the "sports package" for a few bucks if I could get it. Just another reason to hate the cable company.
SERIOUSLY???
Meridith,
I heard something about that but not all the details. That is some funny stuff.
Fantastic news if it is true:
Charges To Be Dropped
This has nothing to do with anything, but I have no other outlet.
I was just outside working on the bike when a guy decided to back his truck into a spot.
Let me describe the truck. It is a ford F-150 "Queen Douche" I mean "King Ranch." Your typical half ton truck with 4 doors, leather, and a sunroof.
Number one, none of those things belong in a truck.
Number two, this guy has to open the door, check out the white line of the parking spot while he backs in, then put it in "D" straighten it out, put it in "R" and try again. I watched in amusement as I sipped my Miller Lite. As the guy exited the vehicle, I laughed. He asked what was so funny. I answered "You trying to park your truck." He kept going. It was fantastic. I am not sure what I would do if he was actually aggressive.
Anyways, People like this should not buy trucks, rather they should consult their doctors about penile implants. This douche drives this gas guzzler everyday (no passengers), burning gas I could use. I really get angry when I see these fags in SUV's, alone on the highway. Seriously, no one cares if you are hung like a lightswitch. Please, don't advertise it.
I am watching "Ice Road Truckers" which is a great program, but I have one issue. During the intro, they say the risks are greater than the reward. My question is: Why would you do something where you are not fairly compensated for the risk?
Wes, to answer your question; see your prior post.
The Chad
Interesting theory Chad, but I think it has more to do with a small brain.
Look at this link to see the fine lads fuck Michigan recruits.
