Well, we had some additional points added to the Soul Bowl this afternoon. Lady Bird Johnson, former First Lady, died at the age of 94.
Now, if you're anything like me you were immediately wondering how this impacted the current Soul Bowl standings. Actually, it would be great if I would get off my ass and finish the damn website already. Not to get too far off topic, but I do own the domain name SoulBowlOnline.com. Right now, its just a hideous website that I have been screwing around with. I have been messing around with a few programs to help me build a better site. If anyone has any suggestions on what the site should have on it, feel free to pass those along. Honestly, at this point I would be happy with just a place that would show all the current contestants and their points. We'll get there someday. You just gotta trust me on this.
Anyway, onto the updated standing. Since she was older than Jesus' mom, she didn't have a real impact on the standings. As of 7/11, here's how the standings look.
1. RS - 363 points. Picks that paid: Art Buchwald, Benny Parsons, Don Herbert
2. CWG - 240 points. Picks that paid: Boris Yeltsin
3. MJ - 48 points. Pick that paid: Lady Bird Johnson
4. The Chad - 24 points. Picks that paid: Lady Bird Johnson
