You know, I'm not one to judge. Really...I'm not. But I saw this dumb ass story the other day, and I felt the need to chime in.
First, let me give you a little background for those of you who have been traveling abroad or don't subscribe to basic cable. The current Miss New Jersey, Amy Polumbo, came out last week and had a news conference that said she was the target of blackmailers. She revealed that these individuals were threatening to release shocking photos of her unless their demands were met. Now, I don't know about you, but when I hear a story like this my ear immediately perk up. If these photos are good enough that they think she would be willing to pay money to keep them secret, they must be damn good.
Well, she ends up taking the proactive approach and reveals the photos on the Today show. I don't know if I have ever been this unique combination of disappointed and angry at the same time. The photos were basically her drinking and one with her holding her legs open. The horror! Stop the presses! See for yourself here. Did these idiot blackmailers really think that these were so bad that she was going to pony some cash?
I'm not sure what the rule of thumb is here, but let's try this out. If the person is willing to show the photos on national tv and America collectively goes...."whatever" its probably a sign that your case isn't that strong.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
