So many theories, so little time.......

On a side note, I just noticed that all of my titles have the .... after them. No idea how this happened. Wasn't something that I set out to do, but it just kind of ended up that way. So, I'm gonna go with it. It'll be my little trademark. Kind of like how Seinfeld had a Superman in every episode. Yeah, just like that, except shittier and totally lacking originality.

First, here's a fun game I have played a lot recently. Feel free to play along if you get the chance. Whenever I am in a parking lot and searching for the "good spot" my alternative goal is to prevent someone from doing the pull-through. They are in their car, ready to leave, and there I am, the roadblock. This has happened to me about 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and I always seem to get a chuckle from it.

Next, here's yet another thing that annoys me. First, I want to preface this by saying that I am the WORST storyteller ever. I am. Its ok, I know it. I just can't tell you the story. I have to give you the backstory, and all the supporting details. Ask me what time I am going to be someplace. That involves at least 5 minutes of all the details why I will be arriving at said time. However, I have found something that is even worse than that. It's when someone feels compelled to replay a conversation that they had with someone else verbatim. It goes a little something like this:

Person 1: I said to the guy "blah, blah, blah, etc."
Person 1: And then he says "No way, yada, yada, yada."
Person 1: Then I said "oh yeah, blah, blah, blah."
Person 1: To which he replied "but wait, what about...."

Ahhhhh! Just get it out already! Even typing this makes me want to smack myself in the face with a wrench. If anyone EVER hears me doing this, please get me professional help.

Finally, in the immortal words of Prof. Terguson (you can IMDB that little reference if you'd like) we are going to discuss one of the easiest events of the 21st century to understand, stem cells. In response to the comments posted by others in previous posts, I couldn't agree more. The fact that you wouldn't want to pursue a line of research that has so much potential is just incredible. I'd love to know how a politican could look someone in the eye with a disease or condition that could potentially be cured with stem-cell research. It's freakin' cells for cryin' out loud. Maybe I am an idiot. (actually, let me restate. I know I'm an idiot) But I really don't know what the controversey is about. If someone does, please let me know. This would be a great listing for my "Current Events for Dummies" website. I think it has something to do with these religious nuts. Is it just me, or wasn't this country founded on the principles of a seperation of church and state? To steal some words from George Carlin, let's not forget that 9/11 was a "faith-based initiative".

Later.

Don't even get me started on this shit. Based on the political issues of the time, I have totally realized that I am no longer a Republican, which in no way makes me a Democrat. I am just a free thinking American who is smarter than both. I definitely am not a Democrat because they are bunch of pussies who want to give away everything I’ve worked hard for to some low life piece of shit welfare whore with 75 kids and no job. I am definitely not a Republican because as Lewis Black said, “I think evolution is pretty much fact.” I don’t have blind faith as I ass fuck the “book” hoping it will give me direction enough to make political decisions that effect the entire country. I believe in the death penalty and its use at a very high rate. I am pro-choice, but I agree with DWB on the terms of use. I think we should use what ever we can from our bodies to cure whatever is bad for our bodies. I hate Hillary Clinton. Sorry, had to throw that in there. I think we should rid the political landscape of party affiliation in order to force voters and the politicians to think for themselves. Only then will we be able to get shit done. In its current state, it is much easier to be ignorant and vote along party lines, blocking any good legislation that comes from the other side. Until we all begin to think for ourselves, we will continue with this political stalemate where all we have to choose from is two pieces of shit, picking the one that doesn’t smell the worst. Kev-the whole problem with stem cells is that it offends the religious sensibilities of a lot of people. Pretty much God told them its bad (or so they think) and now they have a crusade against stem cells. My theory is that this is a free country. (HA!) As such, we should be able to do whatever research we want, no matter who it offends. If its that bad, no one will fund you and you won't be able to do it. I really don't like that religion is a factor in political issues. I'm with the chad...I'm not a republican, and I am certainly NOT a demmycrat. I'm thinking of registering Libertarian. The only problem with them is that their philosophy is such that they can not organize a ligitimate run at a major office, they are too lassiez-faire.

I also hate Hillary Clinton. I hope she runs for president and is CRUSHED.

I saw this headline and I got excited, is that wrong?

"Former President Gerald Ford hospitalized"

Here is the article, I thought I was the first with a member of his list.

Been a while since my last reply...so let's start with Stem Cells. I hope that we eventually get to a place in this country where people can forget about what's popular or what your party affiliation tells you to believe. Hopefully, we can get to doing what's right and what's smart. Stem Cells...I have not heard one good argument to not test them. If there is a 2% chance of curing cancer with stem cells, let's take some the welfare budget and shift it to this research. Unlike DWB and The Chad, I still consider my self a republican and agree with a majority or their views, especially the fiscal ones...Low Taxes, Generate more revenue through economic growth instead of taxation, etc... Socially, I am more of a centrist. I am anti-abortion, but pro-choice...meaning that I don't like the idea of abortion, but I also believe that it is a women's right to choose. On the left side of the fence, I think we have stretched our military too thin and are very venerable to an attack on the homeland. On the right side of the fence..I think we should increase executions, tax cuts, and drilling for oil. I think we should decrease school funding and welfare programs.

Also, I would like to start a converstion on the "War on Drugs"...I read that in the next 10 years, our government will spend over 400 billion on the "War on drugs"...Fuck that...let's funnel that money to stem cells or more electric chairs, or more bombs!!!

Alright, I'm pissed. Its Tuesday, which is AFTER Monday at 5 PM, and no new entry. So I'll make my own.

War on drugs: This is a scam if I have ever seen one. Why on earth should the .gov give a shit if you want to kill brain cells at an accelerated rate? My opinion is that we legalize all drugs and tax the shit out of them. We turn that huge war on druge expense into a surplus, allowing the country to do things like give more money to schools and women's shelters (by the way, they wouldn't be in a shelter if the listened the first time). Plus it would allow us to give more welfare to the fucking crackhead with 57 kids so they can buy more drugs. Win/win situation.

Actually, I say we leagalize and tax, talk about how much money we make, and cut funding off. I agree with cwg on this. Then we go bomb the shit out of these third world shitholes and steal their oil. I will vote for whoever uses this as their platform in 2008.
